AS3Commons Async is a pure ActionScript 3 library that aims to make working with asynchronous processes easier by abstracting various different implementations encountered in the Flash environment away behind a few easy-to-understand interfaces.
This library used to be an integral part of Spring Actionscript, but has since been released as an independent API.
The library is thoroughly tested and is being used in the Spring Actionscript project.
